Sorilux Drug Interactions

Lithium
Both Sorilux and lithium can increase the risk of high levels of calcium in the blood. While this is probably not a problem with normal Sorilux uses, you may still want to check with your healthcare provider before combining these medications.

Thiazide Diuretics
Both Sorilux and thiazide diuretics can increase the risk of high levels of calcium in the blood. Although this is likely not a problem with normal usage of Sorilux, you may still want to check with your healthcare provider before combining these medications.

Vitamin D
Sorilux is a synthetic form of vitamin D. Using too much may cause high levels of calcium in the blood (known as hypercalcemia). Taking vitamin D supplements could make this problem worse. For people using Sorilux appropriately, a normal dosage of a vitamin D supplement is unlikely to cause problems.

It is always a good idea to give your healthcare provider a complete list of all medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, herbs, and supplements.
