An Introduction to Soriatane Side Effects

As with any medicine, Soriatane® (acitretin) can cause side effects. While some of the side effects can be quite bothersome, many people feel that the benefit of the medication outweighs the potential side effects. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. However, very serious side effects are possible.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Soriatane. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
