Vanos Cream Information

Available by prescription only, Vanos® (fluocinonide cream) is a medication used to treat various skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. It comes in the form of a skin cream and is licensed for use in adults and children as young as 12 years old.
 
When using this medicine, a thin layer of the cream is applied to the affected areas of the skin once or twice daily for up to two weeks. Possible side effects may include headaches and burning at the application site.
 
To ensure your safety with Vanos skin cream, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and supplements), as well as any allergies you may have, including to drugs, foods, dyes, or preservatives. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
