Were you looking for information about Psoriasis? Psoriosis is a common misspelling of psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a disorder that commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin. It occurs in both men and women, most often in adults. The skin disease is caused by overactive T cells (a type of white blood cell); these cells become so active that they set off other immune responses, leading to swelling and fast turnover of skin cells. Infections, stress, and changes in weather that dry the skin can worsen psoriasis.
