Were you looking for information about Psoriasis? Psorias is a common misspelling of psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a skin disorder that results from a malfunction in the immune system. When T cells (a type of white blood cell) in the body become too active, they can set off other immune responses and cause swelling and fast turnover of skin cells. This often results in patches of thick, red skin with silvery scales. Although there is no cure for psoriasis, various medications and light treatments are available to improve the appearance of the skin.
