Olux-E

By reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system, Olux®-E (clobetasol propionate emollient foam) can help treat skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. This prescription medication is applied on the affected areas of the skin twice daily.

Olux emollient foam, or Olux-E, comes in one strength: Olux-E 0.05% emollient foam, in 50-gram and 100-gram cans. This emollient foam does not contain alcohol and is less drying than the regular Olux foam. It is not usually recommended to use Olux-E for long periods of time, as it may lead to serious problems.

Skin reactions and burning are some of the possible side effects of this medicine. Olux-E may not be suitable for people who are taking certain medications or who have certain allergies. Also, it is important to tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before starting treatment with this medicine.
