Olux-E Foam

A healthcare provider may prescribe Olux®-E (clobetasol propionate emollient foam) to treat certain skin conditions that cause itching and inflammation. This medicine is specifically designed to treat skin problems like dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis, just to name a few.

The standard recommended dose of Olux-E is to apply a capful of the foam on the affected areas of the skin twice daily. Possible side effects may include skin reactions and a burning sensation.

It is generally not recommended to use this medicine for long periods of time (no more than two weeks), as it may lead to serious complications. For instance, using too much of this medicine for extended periods may lead to diabetes or Cushing's syndrome.
