Psoriasis Home > Vanos Application

If your healthcare provider prescribes Vanos® (fluocinonide cream), it is important to follow the application directions carefully. This medication comes in the form of a cream that is applied onto the affected areas of the skin once or twice daily.

Your dosage will depend on the condition being treated. However, it is important to not exceed two weeks of treatment with this drug. Also, do not apply more than 60 grams (half of a 120-gram tube) per week. Using too much Vanos or using it too long can increase the risk for serious side effects.
