Before prescribing cyclosporine (Gengraf®, Neoral®, Sandimmune®), your healthcare provider will take into consideration several factors when determining your dosage amount. Some of these factors include your weight, the medical condition being treated, and other medications you are taking. Cyclosporine comes in an original formulation (Sandimmune) and a modified form (Gengraf, Neoral) that is more easily absorbed into the body.
