A healthcare provider may recommend Cormax for people who have certain skin conditions. This prescription medicine is specifically approved to treat skin conditions such as poison ivy, eczema, and dermatitis, among others. This steroid medicine works by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system. Cormax is approved for use in adults and children as young as 12 years old.
What Is Cormax Used For?Cormax® (clobetasol propionate) is a prescription skin medication. It comes in two different forms: a scalp application (topical solution) and an ointment. The topical solution is meant for use on the scalp, while the ointment is typically used on the body.
