What Is Locoid Cream?

Locoid comes in various forms, including a cream, ointment, lotion, and solution (liquid). Some products are approved for different uses. For example, Locoid cream, ointment, and Lipocream are approved to treat inflammation and itching due to a wide variety of conditions, including:
 
 
Locoid lotion is approved to treat atopic dermatitis only, and Locoid solution is approved to treat seborrhea only.
 
Locoid is a type of steroid and works to treat various skin problems by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system. It is usually applied to the affected areas of the skin two or three times daily.
