Locoid Uses

Off-Label Uses for Locoid

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this medicine for something other than the approved uses. This is known as an "off-label" use. For instance, Locoid is sometimes prescribed off-label to treat the following conditions:

  • Penile adhesions or phimosis (typically in young boys)
  • Labial adhesions (typically in young girls)
  • Vitiligo.

In addition, using Locoid lotion for psoriasis, eczema, or anything except atopic dermatitis would be an off-label use, as it is approved only for atopic dermatitis treatment.
