Drug Interactions With Golimumab

"Live" vaccinations (such as chickenpox vaccine or polio vaccine) can interact with golimumab. In addition, several other drugs can interfere with golimumab, including cyclosporine, theophylline, and anakinra. These interactions can increase your risk of infections and other problems. If such problems are a concern, your healthcare provider may decide to monitor you more closely.

Taking golimumab with abatacept can increase your risk of getting an infection. In general, these two medications should not be combined.
