Elocon Lotion
By suppressing an overactive immune system and reducing inflammation, Elocon® (mometasone furoate) lotion can help treat various skin conditions. This prescription medicine is specifically designed to treat skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis, just to name a few.
The usual recommended dose of Elocon lotion is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin once daily. Possible side effects may include skin irritation, such as burning, stinging, and itching.
It is usually recommended to not use this medication for extended periods of time, as it may lead to serious problems. For example, using too much of this medicine for long periods of time may lead to diabetes or Cushing's syndrome.
