DesOwen Lotion
Eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis are just a few of the skin conditions that can be treated with DesOwen® (desonide) lotion. This prescription medicine works to relieve itching and inflammation by suppressing an overactive immune system and reducing inflammation.
The usual recommended dose of DesOwen lotion is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin two to three times daily. Possible side effects may include skin irritation, such as burning, stinging, and dryness.
It is usually recommended to not use this medicine for extended periods of time, as it may lead to serious problems. For example, using too much of this medicine for long periods of time may lead to diabetes or Cushing's syndrome.
