Cormax Scalp Solution

Eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis are just a few of the skin conditions that can be treated with Cormax® (clobetasol propionate) topical solution. This prescription medicine works to treat these skin problems by suppressing an overactive immune system and reducing inflammation.

Although there is also an ointment form of this drug, Cormax topical solution is meant for use on the scalp. The ointment is typically used on the rest of the body.

The recommended dose of Cormax topical solution is a thin layer applied to the affected areas of the skin twice daily. However, do not apply more than 50 mL per week, as using too much of this drug for long periods of time (more than two weeks) can increase your risk for developing diabetes, Cushing's syndrome, or other serious problems.
