People who have certain skin conditions, such as
psoriasis, dermatitis, or eczema, may benefit from Cormax
® (
clobetasol propionate). This prescription medicine works to relieve inflammation and itching associated with these skin problems by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system. It is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin twice daily for up to two weeks.
This medicine is available in the form of a topical solution (for use on the scalp) and an ointment. There was a Cormax cream available, but that product has been discontinued.
